Chocolate goodness.

It's half time in the GA vs. TN game so I'm going to do a little blogging! I absolutely HAVE to share these cupcakes. They are fabulous! My little sister, Ty, came in Sunday and went to church with Justin and I. Then she and I had a lovely lazy day of movies and napping! On Monday we went shopping! However, thanks to my MIL and AIL I am now a bargain shopper! So off to Unclaimed and Goodwill in Scottsboro! Wow did we get some AWESOME deals. LOVE LOVE LOVE living near Unclaimed Baggage. That afternoon we decided to make cupcakes. I had found a recipe on Pinterest that I wanted to try and so we did! Here is the AMAZING recipe for snickers cupcakes! They are a little time consuming but SO worth the extra effort! I promise you won't be disappointed!

I would like some feedback on an idea...I know it will be all my facebooker's who give me the feedback and that is perfectly fine lol! We have been trying to figure out how to ship cupcakes. My sisters and I are starting a business, Sugar and Snips, we also have a website (still in progress) sugarandsnips.us! PLEASE VISIT once we get it up and running! Shipping cupcakes is a bit difficult though. Then I saw this CUTE idea...cupcakes in mason jars! What do you guys think? Would you buy cupcakes like this, in mason jars?

A little bit of fall...

I have decided to start sharing my cupcakes on here...and how I make them! Since it is finally FALL! I decided to share one of my favorite cupcake designs I did...the OWLS! These are honestly SO easy. Where do I get my ideas? I google! And I also like to checkout things that hello, cupcake have done! So how did I make these cute little guys? Well, after you have baked the cupcakes thinly ice them with chocolate icing. Twist small and regular size oreo's apart for the eyes! Add m&m's (or I used reese's pieces and hersheys drops) for the eyes on the small ones. On the big ones add a small oreo and an m&m for the eyes! The beaks are banana runts! The ears on the big owls are oreos cut in 1/2 long ways and frosted with chocolate! The small ears are the oreo's cut in 1/4's and frosted! I used a pretzel stick (lol) and ran it through the chocolate on the ears and voila! It looked like fur! See how easy? And yet they are still SO fun! I will be sharing more cupcakes in the future! Also, if you need any cupcakes baked or have any birthday's coming up...contact me! Happy baking!
